Hospitalisation rates have fallen significantly in Papua New Guinea, as the country records no new COVID cases this week.
But the number of people getting tested is also falling, and there are fears the virus could be spreading undetected.
Dr Alfred Mel is a clinical oncology registrar at PNG’s National Cancer Centre.
He says the latest figures are misleading.
