Department of Health statistics showed another 26,628 cases were spotted in the last 24 hours, down almost a third on the 37,489 registered last Tuesday. It marks the sixth day in a row infections have dropped week-on-week.Latest hospitalisations showed another 1,009 people were admitted to hospitals across the country with Covid on September 9, barely a change from the 988 recorded the same time the previous week. And 185 Covid deaths were registered which was down 11.5 per cent on the 209 recorded seven days ago.
