State and federal women and social services ministers have met face-to-face for the first time since the May election to discuss how to combat violence against women and children.
“Addressing issues of gender equality and violence against women is a national priority,” – Federal Minister for Women Katy Gallagher.
The National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children report is expected to be released in October.
