The native carnivores had all but vanished from England in the face of hunting and the loss of their woodland homes over the past two centuries, but efforts to translocate the animal from Scotland appear to be paying off.
The first 18 animals were moved from Scotland to Gloucestershire in September 2019 and new video shows that they have successfully bred.
