Philippines: Rodrigo Duterte vows daily executions

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has said he will carry out daily executions of criminals once the death penalty is restored.

Duterte, who promised to be tough on crime during his election campaign, says he believes capital punishment failed to deter crime in the past because very few executions were actually carried out.
