Huge queues have started forming at the Russian border with Georgia after Vladimir Putin ordered a partial mobilisation of men to fight in his war in Ukraine. Since Putin’s address on 21 September, many people and their families have fled Russia into neighbouring countries.
Finland has since announced it will be closing its borders to some Russians. The Finish foreign minister stated visits to family members, and for work and study would still be permitted
