US House of Representatives House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has expressed support for Armenia after clashes killed more than 200 soldiers in a long-standing standoff over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Azerbaijan said her comments were “unfair”. Pelosi’s visit to Armenia, a Moscow ally, comes as Russia’s war on Ukraine continues.
