House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday said Democrats “will not rest until we pass the $15 minimum wage.” She made the remarks during a news conference with House Democrats ahead of the House vote on President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion Covid stimulus package.

The House is moving ahead with a vote on the Covid relief plan as a ruling by a Senate official made it unlikely that the measure will include a minimum wage hike to $15.
