An ongoing #coronavirus outbreak in China’s northeastern Heilongjiang Province is having an effect on #SpringFestival travel. Hundreds of thousands of people’s travel plans might have to be canceled, due to the effect of #COVID-19. Heilongjiang provincial authorities are suggesting residents stay where they are, and celebrate the Lunar New Year there. But for Chinese people, it’s the most important holiday of the year, and a time for family reunions that nobody wants to miss, even with the risk of outbreaks.
