Passenger train derails in E Scotland, three dead

A train derailed in eastern Scotland on August 12, killing three people, including the driver. It is thought to have hit a landslide caused by heavy rain and thunderstorms. Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon described it as an “extremely serious” incident.
