There are fresh calls for a ‘booze ban’ in Parliament house this morning in the wake of the damning sexual harassment and bullying report. Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews says she would be very comfortable if alcohol was no longer allowed. But former Federal Parliament staffers, and Labor’s spokesperson for women Tanya Plibersek, believe alcohol is not the origin of the bad behaviour, and that gender inequality is the core problem.
