The Royal Veterinary College says that at least 528 cases of a strange disease have been found in cats in England in 2021, with some proving fatal.

Some pet food retailers withdraw a suspected dry food brand as a result.

The government is working with the college and the Animal Plant and Health agency and the pet food supply chain to investigate the possible link.
