Tensions have been running high after days of protests in the occupied East Jerusalem and now it is flaring in Gaza.
At least 21 Palestinians have been killed after Israeli air raids hit Gaza.
Earlier, Hamas fired a barrage of rockets from the strip towards Jerusalem.
Hamas launched that attack for what it called Israeli aggression in the Al Aqsa compound.
Al Jazeera’s Harry Fawcett reports from occupied East Jerusalem.
