Pakistan ID card verification targets illegal aliens

Afghan refugees living in Pakistan are being warned they face imprisonment if they use fake ID cards.

48,000 people have been identified so far and a deadline to verify new cards runs out at the end of the month.

Some people who have lived in Pakistan for decades fear they’ll be forced out, especially Afghans.

Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder reports from Charsadda.
