Over 6,500 refugees rescued off Libyan coast

Around 6,500 refugees and migrants were saved off the Libyan coast in 40 separate rescue missions by the Italian coast guard.
The International Organization for Migration says more than 2,700 people have died trying to cross the sea from Libya to Italy this year.
