Turkey is hosting the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games in the central province of Konya. More than 4,000 athletes from 56 Muslim-majority countries participated are taking part in the tournament.

The previous editions took place in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Indonesia, and Azerbaijan.
