Our royal team on Meghan v. the Mail on Sunday and ‘Finding Freedom’ | ITV News

This is The Royal Rota – our weekly podcast about the royal family, with ITV News Royal Editor Chris Ship and Producer Lizzie Robinson.

In this week’s bumper episode before the summer break Chris and Lizzie are discussing all things Harry and Meghan.

The Sussexes hit the headlines this week after extracts of new book ’Finding Freedom’ were released. The book lifted the lid on the couple’s seemingly tense relationship with the Cambridges and what motivated them to step away from royal life.

Meghan’s legal team were also back in court for her ongoing battle with the Mail on Sunday. They were trying to keep the names of her friends who spoke anonymously to People magazine from being published.

Chris and Lizzie also discuss the new ITV documentary on Princess Anne and Prince William’s curry catch up with some famous footballers to launch a new mental health campaign.

The Royal family might be on their summer holidays for the next few weeks but you can catch up on all our episodes on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
