This week a mass shooting in an Orlando gay nightclub left 50 dead, the worst in US history. Here in France a policeman was stabbed at him home, along with his wife who also worked for the police. Jo Cox, a British member of parliament from West Yorkshire was stabbed and shot while holding a weekly meeting with her constituents. And hooliganism at the Euro 2016 football competition stir tensions between France and Russia.
