Depuis plus de quatre décennies, la Région des Amériques est un chef de file mondial en matière de vaccination systématique et de campagnes de vaccination de masse contre les maladies infectieuses. Par l’intermédiaire de l’OPS et du Mécanisme COVAX, elle poursuivra ses efforts tant que le vaccin anti-COVID-19 sera déployé.

Après plusieurs décennies de bons résultats en matière de prévision et d’approvisionnement en vaccins et en fournitures auprès du Fonds renouvelable, l’OPS collabore avec l’OMS et ses partenaires pour faire parvenir à la Région des Amériques des doses de vaccin anti-COVID-19 sûres et efficaces.
