Ontario health officials will provide an update on the COVID-19 situation as the province reaches another new daily milestone for the most vaccines administered in 24 hours hitting just over 210,000 doses.

Ontario is reporting 370 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, making it the 11th straight day cases are below 600.

The press conference comes as Ontario’s borders with Quebec and Manitoba fully reopened Wednesday.

It also comes as Kashechewan First Nation in northern Ontario is experiencing a “deepening state of emergency” as a result of surging COVID-19 cases in the community that are primarily among youth who are under 18 years old.
