Crowds gathered to witness the only total solar eclipse of 2020 in Argentina’s Piedra de Aguila. The totality phase of the eclipse, where the moon covers the sun completely, lasted for around two minutes as day turned into night. The path of totality went across parts of Argentina and southern Chile, giving these observers the best view of the total eclipse in South America.
