For months, we’ve been hearing horror stories from frontline workers about the strain on Victoria’s ambulance system. Now, paramedics’ concerns have been confirmed. The State Government has admitted more than one-third of urgent triple-zero calls were answered late, between April and June. On top of that ambulance ramping worsened. Code One patients forced to wait 20 minutes on average in the emergency department. Danny Hill, the General Secretary of the Victorian Ambulance Union joins Sunrise.
