Tokyo Olympics: Some of Australia’s medal hopefuls for Tokyo 2020 have taken an unusual route to get the edge on their competition.
10 members of the artistic swimming team have shared their secrets in the pool with masters of the stage, with the Queensland Ballet set to launch its production of ‘The Sleeping Beauty’ at QPAC next month.
“Being practically water ballerinas, it’s amazing to see the beautiful lines and the technique, and I think we’re really going to be able to use this to our advantage in the lead-up to the Games.” – Artistic Swimming Australia Captain, Emily Rogers.
