‘Don’t touch him!’ Furious bust-up as Just Stop Oil block South London roundaboutEnvironmental activists from Just Stop Oil today caused a furious bust-up between drivers after blocking a key roundabout in South London on their 13th day in a row of protests that have already resulted in 300 arrests. One man confronted a protester, before a second man shouted: ‘Don’t touch him, oi, leave him alone. What do you think you’re f***ing doing? Let the police deal with it’. The man replied: ‘Where’s the f***ing police then?’ The demonstrators established a series of roadblocks from 9am on routes around St George’s Circus in Southwark, which is located between Lambeth North and Elephant and Castle Underground stations. The activists sat on the roads with banners with some gluing themselves to the Tarmac, as they continued their campaign demanding that the Government halts all new oil and gas licences and consents.

The guy in blue shouting OI STOP THAT is the biggest shead and morron ever. Honestly just do a mass civil arrest. Hold them down till police arives. If you know the police arent gonna touch them, just keep holding them down. They might say you are stopping their freedom of movement however they will do the same to you. Hence you are preventing the crime the police are accusing you of. Their argument becomes worthless. Is this specifically not stated in the law? They might not directly be breaking a law but are, stopping your freedom of movement (a human right and most likely your country has extra laws to protect it too), they are causing mass disturbance, causing dangerous and potentially life threatening scenarios. The law is a grey are, why a good lawyer can often make a big difference. But in this case there is so much in your defense
