NBC News published this video item, entitled “Ohio Bride Sparks Movement Of Donating Wedding Dresses And Passing Them Onto Others” – below is their description.
When Gwendolyn Stulgis got married this spring in Ohio, she wore the dress of her dreams. But the gown was expensive at nearly $3,000, and she hated that it would only be worn once. Stulgis got the idea and posted to Facebook that she was giving her dress away to let another bride who may not be able to afford their own dress feel beautiful. She put one condition: to dry clean the gown and keep passing it on for free. Stulgis’ kind gesture has since sparked a movement in the Facebook group “Shared Dream Dresses,” where many others are donating their gowns as well.
