Obama: Climate change will lead to food shortages

While speaking at the Global Food Innovation Summit, former President Barack Obama warned that failure to tackle climate change will disrupt the global food supply and lead to future conflicts.

“Who knew! If the climate changes, food growth will be more difficult in some places! Hold the phone! No Sh*t Sherlock!

It saddens and angers me that we need President Obama to say what must be startlingly obvious to nearly everyone on the planet.

What will need saying next? When oil and gas reserves start to run low, we’ll see countries meddling in places which still have oil and gas? Oh, that’s right, we’re already seeing this, too!
