New South Wales has recorded its sixth case of the Omicron COVID-19 variant – an overseas arrival that has since been out in the community. Australia’s GDP fell 1.9 per cent in seasonally adjusted terms in the September quarter of 2021, marking the third-biggest quarterly fall since records began in 1959.
