7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “NSW rail union meets with the government about the new Inner City Fleet | 7NEWS” – below is their description.
Sydney commuters will avoid a major train strike for now. The NSW Government and unions held crisis talks this afternoon with the union still threatening strike action to an extent the city’s never seen before. But any action is on hold for the moment.
The union is accusing the government of putting commuters at risk on its new intercity fleet, but is now awaiting the outcome from an expense review committee to determine what happens next.
Union leaders say they will give 10 days notice before strike action.
