7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “NSW rail union backflips pm plan to switch off Opal Card machines | 7NEWS” – below is their description.
The NSW rail union has backed down on its plan to turn off Opal Card readers from Wednesday. It follows legal action from the NSW Government which found the action to be unlawful. The union is now threatening other forms of industrial action, but claims commuters will be spared any disruption in the coming weeks. Another hearing will be held tomorrow with hopes of resolving the long running dispute.
