7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “NSW public transport fares to increase says Transport Minister | 7NEWS” – below is their description.
The cost of our commute is about to go up.
Most public bus, train and ferry fares will rise across the state in line with the 1.5% inflation rate.
It’ll mean a peak time train from Penrith to Circular Quay will cost 10 cents extra.
While a ferry from Rydalmere to the city will increase 11 cents. Fares for Opal Gold users will stay at $2.50.
The 50 percent discount after 8 trips will remain. There’s no increase for short bus trips under three kilometres.
