The NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says she accepts she “stuffed up” and made a mistake after revelations surfaced over she had a relationship until recently with disgraced former Liberal MP Daryl Maguire. The Premier gave evidence at an Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) inquiry today investigating whether the former member for Wagga Wagga used his position for personal gain. Ms Berejiklian told the inquiry she was in a relationship with Mr Maguire from about the time of the 2015 state election and last spoke to him a month ago. State Opposition leader Jodi McKay earlier called for the Premier’s resignation, saying Ms Berejiklian had exhibited reckless behaviour.
