It comes after a Perth hotel quarantine guard tested positive to the UK COVID-19 strain, forcing most of the state into a five-day lockdown. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and NSW Education Minister Sarah Mitchell spoke in Penshurst today to announce the opening of 10 new or upgraded schools in the state, and to give a coronavirus update for Monday 1 February 2021.
