7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller proposes app to record sexual consent | 7NEWS” – below is their description.
People in NSW could soon be encouraged to record sexual consent on an app in a bid to combat sexual abuse.
The police commissioner says that many people meet using technology therefore it makes sense to use an app to give clarity and consent.
“If we don’t draw the line in the sand and say consent is a problem, we need to find a solution from a society perspective. Now, if the app never eventuates or eventuates in 10 years’ time, to me it is not that important – it is about what are the other solutions out there,” – Police Commissioner Mick Fuller.
