80% of the population over 16 in New South Wales is now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, triggering a further easing of restrictions tomorrow.

The milestone was achieved as fully vaccinated residents in the state enjoy their first weekend of freedom.

The eased restrictions that begin on Monday apply only to fully vaccinated residents.
