NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard’s comments about COVID-19 moving throughout NSW community | 7NEWS

7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard’s comments about COVID-19 moving throughout NSW community | 7NEWS” – below is their description.

NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard has today said that he sticks by the comments that he made yesterday about COVID-19 moving throughout the NSW community.

“At some stage, if individuals don’t hear Dr Chant’s message, then at some point we’re going to move to a stage where we’re going to have to accept that the virus has a life which will continue in the community” – Brad Hazzard speaking to media yesterday.

In response, the Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan has threatened a permanent hard-border with NSW if our state doesn’t ‘crush and kill’ the current COVID-19 outbreak.

“NSW needs to do what Victoria did last year and crush and kill the virus. Any alternative approach which allows the virus to spread would imperil the whole country before such time as we have achieved mass vaccination” – Mark McGowan – WA Premier.
