NSW Health has confirmed three positive COVID cases visited the state’s north on Thursday July 15 while infectious, with more details on the group’s movements still to be released.

It comes after Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk declared earlier this week that she “won’t hesitate” to shut the border to NSW if coronavirus spreads to other parts of the state and puts Queensland at risk.

“All regional communities should be on alert.” – NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant.
