NSW Coronavirus Update: “Unfortunately we did have 233 cases of community transmission in the last 24 hours. At least 47 of those at this stage were infectious in the community for that time” – NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

“Very sadly, a male in his 20s passed away at home from COVID in south-western Sydney overnight. Obviously, our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.”

“A woman in her 80s from the inner west died at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital yesterday and she tested positive for COVID on July 27th and was being cared for in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital since then. She was not vaccinated” – NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant.
