Nova Scotia Liberal candidate says she was ousted over “boudoir photos”

Global News published this video item, entitled “Nova Scotia Liberal candidate says she was ousted over “boudoir photos”” – below is their description.

The Liberals are facing allegations of misogyny and double standards ahead of Nova Scotia’s 41st general election, after a female candidate alleged she was forced out of the race because of “boudoir photos.”

Robyn Ingraham, who was the candidate for Dartmouth South, had said in a statement on Saturday she would not run due to concerns for her mental health.

However, in another statement posted to her Instagram page Wednesday evening she claimed the party had told her to lie about her reasons for leaving. Alexa MacLean reports on the scandal and what it means for the Liberal leader.
