Norwegian consul caught on CCTV saying she ‘hates Russians’

The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Norwegian consul caught on CCTV saying she ‘hates Russians'” – below is their description.

Russia on Thursday told Norway its consul who was filmed yelling she “hates Russians” in a tantrum at a hotel reception should leave the country.

Moscow took the unusual step after Elisabeth Ellingsen, a consul in Russia’s Murmansk, was caught on CCTV declaring “I hate Russians” in an emotional outburst at the local hotel last month.

Norway’s ambassador was summoned to the Russian foreign ministry in Moscow to be told of the diplomat’s “unacceptable behaviour”, Russia’s foreign ministry said on Thursday.
