North Korea says it has successfully tested new long-range cruise missiles. Analysts say the missiles have the potential to carry nuclear warheads.
According to North Korean state media, the missiles can travel as far as 1,500 kilometers, putting parts of Japan within reach. The series of tests suggest North Korea is still able to develop advanced weapons despite an economic crisis and increased UN sanctions.
