The country’s leader, Kim Jong-un, slammed officials for their “non-positive attitude, slackness and non-activity” in handling the Covid-19 outbreak, according to state media outlet KCNA. He has reportedly ordered the immediate deployment of troops to stabilise the distribution of medicines in the capital Pyongyang.
