North Korea missiles test-launched as seen in photos from state TV

Global News published this video item, entitled “North Korea missiles test-launched as seen in photos from state TV” – below is their description.

North Korea’s state-run television on Friday released more still photographs of the latest missiles launches.

The reclusive country launched a “newly developed new-type tactical guided projectile” on March 25, the country’s state media reported.

The photos showed a black-and-white painted projectile blasting off from a military launch vehicle, and officials clapping.

The new weapon is based on existing technology that was improved to carry a 2.5-ton warhead, KRT reported. The pair of test-fired weapons accurately hit a target 600 km away, state media added.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un did not appear in any of the photographs released by the state media, and undated state media photos published on Friday showed him inspecting new passenger buses in Pyongyang.
