    However hard the U.S. tries to commercially sabotage the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from Russia to Germany, it’s still taking shape and ready to start pumping fuel.

    Even the U.S. government’s had to indirectly concede sanctions are proving unproductive, by waiving restrictions against the leading company behind the project.
