Coroners did not show up at the scene of a sudden, unnatural death at a housing unit where the decomposing remains of two dead female bodies were later found — more than two months later.
Global News has learned from sources that the B.C. Coroners Service did not pay a visit to the scene where the tenant of a Vancouver rooming house died suddenly in February. Nobody conducted a thorough sweep of the suite until the cleaning crews arrived to make the shocking discovery.
Since the grim timeline and embarrassing investigative oversight by multiple agencies in the tragic case of 13-year-old Noelle O’Soup were made public, there has been silence from almost all who dropped the ball.
From the day that the 13-year-old vanished from foster care to the discovery of her decomposed remains, which went overlooked for months inside a cramped unit of this Vancouver housing complex, alongside a woman in her 30s.
It was revealed that the second dead female is closely related to a serving member of the Vancouver police department, which has repeatedly refused comments on this case. Global’s Sarah MacDonald has more of the gruesome details.
