‘No one goes to work expecting to be the patient’ – NYC doctor on COVID-19 frontline | The Drum

A prominent cardiologist has taken to the New York Times op-ed pages to issue a call to arms to all medical professionals.

Dr Hadi Halazun writes “today we are all COVID-19 doctors. Your appointments are cancelled and our offices are closed. this is a global war, and we are the soldiers.”

Dr Halazun spoke to The Drum’s Julia Baird about his experiences on the frontline against the virus.
