One month on, the Cumbre Vieja #volcano on the Spanish island of La #Palma is still spewing lava and ash, with no end to in sight to the eruptions, according to the president of the Canary Islands. Some 742 hectares of land has already been engulfed by #lava and around 2,000 buildings destroyed, while the chaos caused by the volcano has turned daily life upside down for many of the island’s inhabitants.
