The lifting of Sydney’s lockdown is under threat after new infections were linked to a party more than a week ago in breach of COVID rules. At least three people attended a gathering at the Meriton Apartments in Waterloo on the first night of lockdown, and are now infected. They’re among 35 new coronavirus cases today, the highest increase so far. There are now fears the party breach could turn out to be a super spreader event. More:
