ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “Neurodiversity: how Sara Firth is learning to own her difference | The Drum” – below is their description.
School was tough for Sarah Firth. She struggled to sit still and pay attention.
Numbers and letters seldom made sense, and the only thing that could hold her attention was a book to draw and doodle in.
Her parents put it down to her energetic, creative personality, but as an adult Sarah finally received a professional diagnosis as neurodiverse.
She told The Drum’s Ruby Cornish that she is learning to own her difference.
