Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly flew to Saudi Arabia on Sunday to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) and the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Israeli media said.
Sunday’s meeting, if confirmed, would mark the first known encounter between senior Israeli and Saudi officials, amid a US backed push among Arab countries to normalise ties with Israel.This follows recent Washington-brokered normalisation deals between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain.
The Israeli prime minister’s office is not confirming or denying the reports.
