Nestle to break ties with Fairtrade Foundation | The World

Nestle has announced it’s severing ties with the Fairtrade Foundation for its Kit Kat brand – a move that could affect thousands of farmers in developing countries who rely on the group to negotiate the sale of their products. Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand CEO Molly Harriss Olson tells The World it will have a devastating impact on many nations, including the Pacific.
